Baby Party | Baby Shower
Beginner Class

In this course you will learn how to use a sewing machine safely and you will jointly sew either a cot bumper or a baby blanket for the expecting parents. The bumper and blanket can be customized with e.g. the name of the child. All sewing tools and fabrics required for this will be made available to you and  are included in the class price. You are also welcome to use your own sewing machine.

Course Content

  • Basic functions of a sewing machine

  • Basic sewing techniques (lining, stitching, top stitching,)

  • Tips for buying a sewing machine

  • Exciting insights behind the scenes of the fashion industry

  • No sewing skilly required

Sewing Project

  • Cot Bumber: 1m length

  • Baby Quilt: 1m x 1m

  • Iron

  • All Sewing Supplies (Needles. Scissors, Yarn etc.)

  • Fabrics for the cot bumber/ baby quilt

  • 2.5 hours including breaks as required

  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday and upon request

  • 250€ (incl. fabrics & sewing machines) + potential travel fee

Attendees​

  • unlimited (I can provide 5 sewing machines)

Important information about payment & cancellation

  • The full course fee is due 14 days before the start of the class or 2 days after the class date confirmation for short-term bookings

  • Up to 14 days before the start of the class, rescheduling to another date is possible and free of charge

  • A rebooking/cancellation fee of 50% of the total price is due up to 7 days of cancellation before the class begins

  • For cancellations less than 48 hours before the start of the class, a rebooking/cancellation is no longer possible. In this case, the course expires. However, you are welcome to forward the class date to someone else. In this case please contact me.
