Clothes due for an upgrade? In this course you will learn how to use a sewing machine safely and you will upcycle sorted out textiles into something new! Skirts, tops, bags - no matter what projct you have in mind, I will be there to suport you step by step. All sewing tools, patterns and upcycling materials required will be made available to you and are included in the class price. You are also welcome to use your own sewing machine and bring your own textiles you want to upcycle.

• Basic functions of a sewing machine

• Understanding of simple sewing patterns

• Adjusting sewing patterns to your measurements
• Cutting the sewing projects

• Basic sewing techniques (lining, top stitching, raw edge trimming) 

• Tips on choosing the right fabric for sewing projects

• Tips for buying a sewing machine

• Exciting insights behind the scenes of the fashion industry

Required Skills

• You should have already taken a beginner´s sewing class or have made your own first expereinces with a sewing machine and know e.g. how to thread a sewing machine

• Children need to be 8+ years old and confident in handling scissors

• Iron

• All sewing supplies (Needles. Scissors, Yarn etc.)

• A curated selection of fabrics  (included in the class price)

Important information about payment & cancellation

• The full course fee is due 14 days before the start of the class or 2 days after the class date confirmation for short-term bookings

• Up to 14 days before the start of the class, rescheduling to another date is possible and free of charge

• A rebooking/cancellation fee of 50% of the total price is due up to 7 days of cancellation before the class begins

• For cancellations less than 48 hours before the start of the class, a rebooking/cancellation is no longer possible. In this case, the course expires. However, you are welcome to forward the class date to someone else. In this case please contact me
