As a textile lover with a soft spot for 2nd hand fabrics and clothing, you will definitely find some gems in the "Material Pool" of the Textilhafen. The store opens its doors twice a week and you can browse through pre-sorted fabrics and (vintage) clothing and buy them at a price per kilo. In addition to inexpensive fabrics for upcycling, your purchase also supports the Berliner Stadtmission, which processes up to 10t of clothing donations for a good cause every week at the Textilhafen. If you want to donate clothes directly, pls always keep an eye on their website for what is currently needed.

At HÜCO you will meet fashion students, costume designers, hobby seamstresses and knowledgeable employees who are happy to share their knowledge with you. The selection of haberdashery (trimmings, ribbons, buttons, zippers, sewing threads, etc.) is comparatively manageable. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to share their knowledge if you have any questions. 19% VAT is added to the prices and for students there is a discount at the checkout.
